EAMS Phase 1 Go-Live

We are excited to announce that Phase 1 (Real Estate Services) of the EAMS project is officially live as of 2/27/2024. Achieving this milestone has been a collaborative effort between the RES team, University IT, the EAMS Project Team, Planon, and many stakeholders across the University.

While there is still plenty of work left to do in the project, bringing RES on to the EAMS platform has been a great accomplishment!

Facilities Kick-Off

Phase 2 (University Facilities) of the EAMS project was kicked off in February with in-person information sessions for the Medical Center, River Campus, and Materials Management. During these sessions, the EAMS Project team and Planon presented key project milestones and a demo of the EAMS/Planon system. Committees to help with the overall implementation are currently being set up and will start meeting in April.

Kickoff Meeting

The project kickoff meeting for the Enterprise Asset Management System was Tuesday, February 28th. The Planon Enterprise Asset Management System will replace our current FAMIS, UR Space and RES systems with contemporary technology that will serve to provide improved customer service, enable our improved work processes, and provide actionable decision support and evidence of improved stewardship of institutional assets.
