Ground was broken in April 2011 for a new building for the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development, which was formed in 1958.  The local contractor R. Wayne LeChase and his wife Beverly donated $3.5 million towards the construction cost and the building was named after his father, Raymond F. LeChase.

The building opened in January 2013, the 20th anniversary of the name of the Warner School, and was dedicated on May 16th.
